The established brand has won the confidence of lakhs of customers over the years and gained immense reputation for its services. But do you know the lady behind Vandana Luthra Curls and Curves (VLCC)? Well, it’s none other than Vandana Luthra, Indian entrepreneur and founder of VLCC Health Care Ltd.

Vandana Luthra hails from New Delhi. She started VLCC in 1989 as a beauty and wellness service center in Safdarjung Development area in Delhi. Currently, the brand is not just one of India’s leading health and wellness brand but is also present at 326 locations in 153 cities and 13 countries in South Asia, South East Asia, the GCC region and East Africa.

Not just this, for her great work in the particular industry, Vandana Luthra has received multiple awards. Some of them include ‘The Asian Business Leaders Forum Trailblazer Award’ in 2012, ‘The Enterprise Asia Women Entrepreneur of the Year Award’ in 2010 and is also the chairperson of the Beauty and Wellness Sector Skill Council (B&WSSC), an initiative that provides training under the Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana schemes.

She has also authored two books on health and fitness and is a philanthropist. On April 5, 2013, then President Pranab Mukherjee presented the Padma Shree Award to her at an investiture ceremony at Rashtrapati Bhavan in New Delhi.
